SIF 2024-2025 Board

Sydney Ritchey 

Sydney is a senior from San Diego, CA majoring in Economics-Accounting through Claremont McKenna College. In Claremont, she serves as the President of Member Relations on the Claremont Accounting Association. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and keeping up with the San Diego Padres.

Sydney Watson

Sydney is a senior from Dallas, TX majoring in Economics. On campus, she is actively involved in mentoring students in recruiting for investment banking roles. In her free time, Sydney enjoys playing trivia with friends and creative outlets like needlepoint. Sydney studied abroad in Stockholm last fall.

Sofia Mayes

Sofia is a junior from Chicago, IL majoring in Environment, Economics, and Politics and is on the pre-med track. On campus she is the VP of EndOverdose and a Chemistry lab TA. In her free time, Sofia is training for a marathon. 

Charlotte Blasi 

Charlotte is a junior from Chicago, IL majoring in Mathematics. She is a writer for The Student Life and a tutor for Mathspot. She loves to hike, crochet, and watch reality TV.

Sophia Wilson

Sophia is a senior from La Crescenta, CA majoring in Economics and minoring in Dance. She is the Career Vice President of Claremont Women in Business and an Economics tutor. For fun, she enjoys weightlifting. Sophia studied in Copenhagen in Fall '23.

Lydia Benton 

Lydia is a senior from the Bay Area and studies Economics. At Scripps, she works at the Academic Resources and Services office. She enjoys going on walks, taking group fitness classes at Tiernan Field House, and decorating cakes. Last semester, she studied abroad in Copenhagen.

Audrey Mallah

Audrey is a senior from Albany, CA majoring in Economics and minoring in Biology. Outside of SIF, Audrey works on digitization at Denison Library and plays intramural sports. Audrey studied abroad in London last semester.

Sydney Hamel

Sydney H. is a senior majoring in environmental analysis on the economics track and is writing her thesis on regenerative cattle grazing practices. She’s passionate about impact investing, sunny walks, and cozy cafes.

Sylvie Hasson

Sylvie is a senior Economics-Accounting major from Seattle, WA. At Scripps, she works at the Tiernan Field House and as an Economics tutor. She enjoys getting outdoors, pilates, and playing cards. Sylvie studied abroad in Madrid last semester. 

Kia Kellenberger

Kia is a junior from Tokyo, Japan majoring in Economics and minoring in Psychology and Art. On campus, she is a Tech Support intern and Dean of Students office assistant. Kia also plays on the 5C Women's Club Volleyball team.

Kinsey Ho 

Kinsey is a sophomore from Palos Verdes, CA intending to major in Economics-Accounting and minor in English. She writes and illustrates for The Scripps Voice, and dances ballroom with CCBDC. Kinsey also loves being part of book clubs.

Joan Keane 

Joan is a sophomore majoring in Mathematical Economics. She is the Underclassmen Liaison for the Scripps Economics Society, a Career Consultant with a data specialty for the Scripps CP&R Office, and an Undergraduate Ambassador for Forté. After college she hopes to work in the portfolio management side of asset management.

Madyson Chung-Lee

Mady is a sophomore from Irvine, CA planning to major in Asian Studies and International Relations. She is a Motley barista, member of the Ninth Street Hooligans a cappella, the League of Women Voters co-president, and a Korean Student Association member. Mady enjoys attending concerts and exploring new food spots. 

Galina Simpson 

Galina is a junior from Portland, OR majoring in Economics-Accounting and minoring in Cognitive Science and Africana Studies. She is part of the a cappella group Midnight Echos, Pomona College Model UN, and a Motley barista.

Rebecca Yao

Rebecca is a junior from Boston, MA majoring in Human Centered Design and minoring in Asian American Studies. She is the Student Organizations Commissioner for SAS, a Motley barista, and AASP sponsor. She also plays for 5C Club Volleyball.

Gyury Lee

Gyury is a sophomore from Claremont, CA majoring in Economics. At Scripps, she is active as a Community Coordinator while also serving as a Career Counselor at the Career Planning and Resources office. In her free time, she likes to stroll to Trader Joe's and hanging out with friends.

Natalia Uslander

Natalia is a sophomore from San Diego, CA majoring in Science, Technology, and Society. Outside of SIF, she is the treasurer and a founding member of the Scripps College chapter of Plant Futures Initiative. In her free time, she loves reading, spending time outside, and being with friends.

Siran Rao

Siran is a freshman from San Diego, California majoring in Physics and Engineering. Alongside SIF, she is a member of Product Space and Pomona Consulting. She loves spending her free time with friends, hosting movie nights, and exploring the city.
